The new prototype of the BabyBubble stroller to protect infants from environmental risks is currently looking for investments

LEEK, England – (BUSINESS WIRE) – May 29, 2020 –

A unique new stroller design was announced today to protect babies from airborne diseases such as Covid-19 and other environmental threats. BabyBubble is currently in the prototype stage and the company is confident that it will be able to launch the stroller in 3-6 months with the right investors on board. In addition, a donation goes to the NHS for every stroller sold. The BabyBubble stroller uses N95 filters to prevent viruses and air pollution from getting into the bladder, and helps parents protect infants aged 0 to 12 months. The striking transparent bladder design also protects babies from UV rays and allows parents to adjust the bladder's internal temperature to ensure that their child feels comfortable and safe.

Newborns are exposed to a variety of risks when transported in normal strollers. These include airborne diseases, air pollution, extreme weather, harmful UV light, insect bites, aggressive animals or even acid attacks. The BabyBubble eliminates these risks.

The BabyBubble stroller protects babies with a variety of unique functions:

  • Air filtering: The stroller uses N95 air filters to ensure that the air circulating in the stroller is cleaned. This prevents babies from inhaling pollution from vehicle emissions or airborne diseases such as Covid-19, influenza, colds and chickenpox. Parents can easily replace filters if necessary.
  • Sun protection: The unique transparent bubble protects the child from 99.9% harmful UV light and 97% infrared light. It repels 70% of the sun's heat and uses the same sun protection film as the windows of luxury hotels in hot countries.
  • Temperature control: The BabyBubble is equipped with a temperature test that is linked to a smartphone app. This allows parents to monitor the temperature in the bladder. The stroller can be further improved with air conditioning to regulate the inside temperature.

The BabyBubble is equipped with additional functions with which parents can transport their children safely. The stroller battery is charged when rolling and has a self-braking system (BabyBubble can only be moved if the parents press the handle down). The robust aluminum frame is light and can be folded up with one click for easy storage. The stroller made of BPA-free plastic is extremely durable and even has an interior light that allows parents to look after their little one at night.

BabyBubble inventor Ian Whieldon explains why he designed the stroller: "In today's world, there are innumerable environmental risks that pose a health risk to newborn babies – Covid-19 is just the latest threat."

He added: “Surprisingly, traditional strollers offer almost no protection against environmental threats. We know how dangerous air pollution can be to children's lungs, and we also know how harmful UV rays are to their skin – not to mention many other risks. The BabyBubble is designed to eliminate as many of these threats as possible while providing baby comfort in an aesthetically pleasing and lightweight design. "

The inventor of BabyBubble is actively looking for investors to participate in this and a host of other unique inventions.
